This announcement is for students who have been placed at Middle East Technical University (METU) through the special agreement between the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Government of Yemen.

These students should send their registration documents to iso@metu.edu.tr as soon as possible.

Upon receiving your documents, we will review them and inform you about the further steps required to complete your registration.

Students Placed in Undergraduate Programs

Please send the following documents:

• Passport-size photo
• Passport
• Residence Permit Card (front and back; only for students residing in Türkiye with a residence permit) – if applicable
• High School Diploma and its official translation into Turkish or English
• High School Transcript and its official translation into Turkish or English
• Equivalence Letter issued by a Turkish Embassy or a Provincial Directorate of National Education in Türkiye – if applicable
• English Proficiency Document (TOEFL, PTE, or METU EPE) – if applicable
• Other exam results (e.g., SAT, WAEC, ACT, AP, GCE A-Level, TR-YÖS, IB, DIM, etc.)
• Letter of Financial Guarantee – You can find the required template here:

• National ID or passport copy of the financial guarantor

Students Placed in Graduate Programs

Please send the following documents:

• International Graduate Student Registration Form
  The form should be downloaded and completed by the student, including the student's signature. It can be downloaded HERE.
  
  • If you do not yet have a residence permit in Türkiye, you may leave the “TC/Foreign ID No.” field blank.
• ALES / GRE Score Sheet – if applicable
• English Proficiency Score (METU EPE / IELTS / TOEFL / PTE Academic) – if applicable
• Diploma / Temporary Graduation Certificates for previous degrees and their official translations into Turkish or English
• One photo
• Identity page of your passport
• Residence Permit Card – if applicable
