Application Requirements
Last Updated:
YÖS is not conducted and accepted by Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ). Also, scores from the YÖS exams conducted by other universities cannot be used in the application as the primary application document. The acceptable exams for undergraduate programs in ODTÜ are listed below and fully available via this link. A passing score from at least any one of these exams is sufficient to apply (the document states the minimum scores to apply. Having these minimum scores does not guarantee admission). However, if you have more than one exam result, it is possible to submit all of them while making your application as additional documents. Exam results such as SAT, QUDURAT, and TQDK are valid for two years. Documents holding the status of a high-school diploma are valid with any date.
Attention!!! Students who study with a different curriculum and grading system than the national curriculum and the grading system of a given country may not be able to use their diploma score as the application criteria (such as private high schools). These students are highly recommended to consult our advisors in the International Students Office in an early period of the year as they may require to take SAT or ACT exams in order to be eligible to apply to METU.
