According to the list of the exams and qualifications that can be used as the primary application document for undergraduate programs at METU Ankara Campus and also the minimum scores required for each of these qualifications, applicants can apply to METU Ankara Campus international student quotas with a TR-YÖS score as long as they are ranked in the first 5th percentile in the TR-YÖS exam taken by the applicant. Accordingly, for the January 2023 TR-YÖS, top 961 test takers; for the November 2023 TR-YÖS, top 411 test takers; for the May 2024 TR-YÖS, top 1086 test takers can make an application.

If the candidate's ranking is within these ranges, he/she could use the TR-YÖS score as the primary application document and upload it to the Exam Result section of the online application program.

If the candidate's ranking is lower than these ranges, then he-she can only apply to METU Ankara Campus undergraduate programs only if he/she has an alternative exam/document provided in this link: https://iso.metu.edu.tr/en/system/files/odtu_iso_requirements.pdf In this case, the applicant can still present his/her TR-YÖS score in the additional documents section.
